·       After finishing tied for fifth last season, Concordia made a gigantic leap to a 4-2 record, tying for second in the conference. The Bulldogs defeated Doane, Hastings, Mount Marty, and Northwestern in conference play, and the two losses fell by one point (3-4) in both. They have won 10 of their last 13 duals with the biggest victory coming against the Lancers.

·       Concordia met in-state rival Doane in its final regular season contest and swept the Tigers (7-0). Nick Velder clinched the team win over Diego Infante (7-5, 6-1). The Dawgs started hot, taking the doubles point via seniors Grady Works and Manuel Rodriguez at No. 3 (6-0). The dominant duo of Santiago Abadia and Ben Chisholm sliced Elliot Fassel and Andre Hartman, 6-2, for their 14th win as a pair. No. 6 Michael Bedrosian remains unbeaten (5-0) over Tanner Adams (7-6 (5), 6-1). No. 3 Works kept the Bulldogs rolling against Doane’s Andre Hartman (6-2, 6-3), going unbeaten on senior day. No. 1 Hugo Fuentes, No. 4 Chisholm and No. 5 Abadia also claimed wins.

·       Abadia, out of Bogotá, Columbia, became the new single-season doubles win leader (15) after his win over Doane. The Colegio Nueva York product passed Tim Marshall and Glen Gutz in a record that has stood since the 1992-93 season. Fourteen of his wins came via Chisholm and one came with Rodriguez. With his victory in individual play, Veldersm the Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, native claimed the single-season record for singles wins (17). Velders (17-2) surpasses Jeremy Jank (2009-10) and Gabe Pohling (2016-17) to make history.

·       The Bulldogs have a chance for more as the single season team record is 14 wins. Guaranteed as least one more match, Hart’s squad will be the second winningest team in the program’s history with the upcoming match against Doane. Two more and it would tie the 2009-10 season.

·       As a team, the Dawgs are 74-39 in singles and 38-19 in doubles play. Nick Velders (17), Works (12), Ben Chisholm (11) and Abadia (nine) lead the team with individual wins. Abadia (15), Chisholm (14) and Fuentes (12) are pacing the side in doubles wins.

·        Concordia will be looking to go further than last year’s exit from the GPAC tournament. The Bulldogs were defeated in the quarterfinals by Doane, 0-4. In the history of the GPAC tournament (first held in 2001), the program has reached the conference final one time in 2021. In the 23 all-time GPAC tournaments, Concordia has reached at least the semifinal round 11 times.
