Schedule Release: 2026 Concordia Softball

2026 Concordia Softball Schedule

SEWARD, Neb. – A 45-game regular season schedule awaits Concordia University, Nebraska Softball. Head Coach Brock Culler’s program has announced its 2026 slate, which will feature 23 nonconference games and the typical 11 GPAC doubleheaders. The new season is slated to officially get underway in Mesquite, Texas, on Feb. 5.

Culler’s Bulldogs will attempt to build upon a 2025 campaign that saw them finish at 27-20 overall (12-10 GPAC) and in fifth place in the GPAC regular season standings. The list of returning GPAC All-Conference players includes senior Taryn Ganstrom (second team), juniors Kaylei Denison (honorable mention), Aubriana Krieser (honorable mention), Laycee Josoff (honorable mention) and Grace Maguire (honorable mention) and sophomore Avery O’Boyle (honorable mention).

Concordia Softball will play in Texas for the first time since 2017 when action takes place Feb. 5-7 at the Southern Collegiate Sports NAIA Softball Invitational in Mesquite. The Bulldogs are slated to play six games at the event (with opponents to be announced). In other highlights of the nonconference schedule, Concordia will take part in the Top Gun NAIA Midwest College Classic (Feb. 28-March 1) and the Friends University Invite (March 6-7). The Bulldogs will also take on in-state foes in Nebraska Wesleyan University and Bellevue University.

A rivalry matchup with Midland in Fremont will signal the start of conference play on March 18. Concordia is slated to make its first Plum Creek Park appearance on March 27 with a doubleheader versus Morningside. The Bulldogs will host defending GPAC champion Northwestern on April 11. The regular season will conclude at home versus College of Saint Mary on April 25.

Dates for the 2026 GPAC tournament are April 29-30 for pod play and May 2 for the GPAC Championship Series. The 2026 NAIA Softball National Championships begin with the opening round on May 11-14 (campus sites) and continue with the NAIA World Series in Columbus, Ga., May 21-27.
