
2026 GPAC All-Conference Softball Teams

SEWARD, Neb. – A group of 10 Bulldogs represented Concordia University, Nebraska Softball with 2026 GPAC All-Conference awards, as announced on May 4. The honor roll features first team selections in sophomore Keira Farritor and freshman Mary Beth Hart. In addition, three Bulldog upperclassmen were tabbed second team honorees: junior Kaylei Denison and seniors Taryn Ganstrom and Tobi Topp. Honorable mention distinction went to juniors Laycee Josoff, Aubriana Krieser and Grace Maguire, sophomore Avery O’Boyle and senior Grace Zaugg.
Head Coach Brock Culler’s squad concluded the ’26 season at 23-20 overall (11-10 GPAC). Concordia went 1-2 in the Dordt Bracket of the GPAC tournament. In late April, 11 Bulldogs were recognized as 2025-26 NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
A sophomore from Malcolm, Neb., Keira Farritor enjoyed a breakout second season as a Bulldog. Farritor held down the designated player spot and a role in the middle of the batting order. She led the team in home runs (six), RBIs (32), on-base percentage (.424) and slugging percentage (.609). Farritor also ranked second on the team with a .375 batting average and added 12 doubles to her season stat line. Back on April 8, Farritor became the first Concordia Softball player since 2010 to slug three home runs in a single game. Farritor helped lead the way for an offense that ranked 28th nationally in batting average (.339).
A Lincoln Southwest High School product, Hart put together one of the best freshman seasons in program history. Hart paced the team in batting average (.401 – eighth best in the GPAC), hits (65), runs scored (38), total bases (83) and stolen bases (22) while starting all 44 games in left field. A consistent force at the top of the lineup, Hart collected multiple hits in 22 games. She notched 12 doubles and three triples while sporting a .427 on-base percentage and .512 slugging percentage. In the outfield, Hart handled 58 of 60 chances with one outfield assist.
As a junior, Denison took over the role of pitching staff ace. The Waverly, Neb., native moved up to the GPAC’s second team in 2026 after garnering honorable mention accolades as a sophomore. This season, Denison recorded a 14-12 record with a 3.56 ERA and 93 strikeouts (to 74 walks) in 155.1 innings (fifth most among GPAC pitchers). She whirled shutouts of Hastings and Doane during the final month of the season. Denison punched out nine Mount Mercy hitters in a win in February. Over her first three collegiate seasons, Denison has logged 323 innings with a 27-28 record and 4.12 ERA.
The Seneca, Kan., native Ganstrom has landed on the GPAC’s second team for a second year in a row. As a senior in 2026, Ganstrom batted .350 (50-for-143) with 34 runs, seven doubles, five triples, three home runs, 28 RBIs and 14 stolen bases to go with a .400 on-base percentage and .531 slugging percentage. She hit for the cycle in the game two win over Doane on April 22. At shortstop, she fielded at a .922 clip (handling 188 of 204 chances). Ganstrom is the program’s single season record holder for triples (nine in 2025). Her 15 career triples rank second in school history. As a Bulldog, Ganstrom hit .358 with 107 hits in 113 games. She also made 35 career pitching appearances.
In her second season after transferring from Iowa Central Community College, Topp starred as Concordia’s center fielder. She batted .333 (45-for-135) with 10 doubles, two triples, four home runs, 23 RBIs and nine stolen bases in 44 games. Topp reached base at a .395 clip and slugged .526. In center, she handled 76 of 78 chances (.974). The Lloydminster, Canada, native saw action in 71 games in her two seasons as a Bulldog.
Formerly a shortstop, Josoff has been tabbed GPAC Honorable Mention All-Conference in each of her first three college seasons. The Concordia second baseman started all 44 games in 2026 and batted a career-high .315 while posting an on-base percentage of .413 and slugging percentage of .454. She also tallied 16 runs, four doubles, a triple, three home runs, 22 RBIs and seven stolen bases. Two of her home runs came in the same game at Waldorf. Defensively, Josoff registered 71 putouts and 64 assists (.938 fielding percentage). A three-year starter, Josoff has played in 129 career games and has produced 83 hits.
The starter at first base for all 44 games in 2026, Krieser has collected her third career All-GPAC award (second team in 2024). This season, the Lincoln North Star High School product batted .368 with 19 runs, seven doubles, four home runs and 28 RBIs while sporting a .393 on-base percentage and .507 slugging percentage. She recorded a .991 fielding percentage (317 of 320) at first. Krieser went 6-for-10 at this year’s GPAC tournament. Over 113 career games at Concordia, Krieser has hit .350 (118 hits) with 28 doubles, nine home runs and 77 RBIs.
A Watkins, Iowa, native and Kirkwood Community College transfer, Zaugg split time in right field this season, appearing in 31 games with 23 starts. She batted .354 (23-for-65) with 12 runs, five doubles, a home run, 14 RBIs and five stolen bases. Zaugg did not commit a single error in 25 outfield chances. Her home run came in a 2-0 win over Hastings. Zaugg played in 52 games and hit .320 over the past two seasons.
Maguire and O’Boyle combined for a productive duo at the catcher position. A sophomore out of Grand Island Central Catholic High School, O’Boyle started 30 games (33 games played) and hit .323 (32-for-99) with 20 runs, five doubles, a home run and 16 RBIs. Her home run came at the GPAC tournament. O’Boyle posted a .977 fielding percentage and threw out 13 runners attempting to steal. Meanwhile, Maguire started 26 games (32 games played) and hit .293 (22-for-75) with three doubles, a triple, a home run and 16 RBIs. The Papillion, Neb., native notched a .976 fielding percentage and nabbed four runners attempting to steal. Both O’Boyle and Maguire were also tabbed honorable mention all-league choices in 2025.
