Concordia enters GPAC Tournament as the third seed

Bulldogs will face Dordt in the opening round

The Concordia University, Nebraska, softball team closed the regular season 19-17 on the season and finished Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) play with a 13-7 record.  The 13-7 mark earned Concordia the No. 3 seed.

Concordia will face the No. 6 seeded Dordt College Defenders who finished the season with an overall record of 20-22 and a GPAC mark of 10-10. 

The Bulldogs and Defenders met on March 24 in a doubleheader, swept by Concordia.  The Bulldogs defeated Dordt 2-0 in the first game and 4-2 in game two on March 24.  

Concordia and Dordt will meet at 2 p.m. in Hastings, Neb. on Field 3.  The Bulldogs will also play again at 4 p.m. against an opponent to be determined based on the outcome of the opening games.
