
SEWARD, Neb. – The United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday (Aug. 1) the college team academic award winners for the 2024-25 academic year which included Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Soccer. Two hundred and ninety six teams qualified for the men’s honor to earn the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award. The Bulldogs held a collective 3.31 grade point average for last season.
To be eligible to make the team award, each squad must hold at least a 3.0 GPA or higher. CUNE men’s soccer had nine total NAIA scholar-athletes including Josh Bergt, Nolan Fuelberth, Slade Leicht, Manuel Rodriguez and Adrian Wambua. First time honorees are Ferdinand Hagen, Youssef Heggy, Kai Olbrich and Michael Wyvill.
Four Bulldogs made CSC Academic All-District starting with junior Nolan Fuelberth and sophomores Ferdi Hagen, Youssef Heggy and Michael Wyvill.
