
2025 CSC Academic All-District Soccer Teams
SEWARD, Neb. – A trio of Bulldogs from the 2025 GPAC tournament championship Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Soccer team landed on Academic All-District Soccer Teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). The announcement was made by CSC on Nov. 25. The Concordia honorees include seniors Slade Leicht and Adrian Wambua and junior Michael Wyvill. A Lincoln native, Wyvill has garnered CSC Academic All-District accolades in back-to-back years.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher in order to be nominated for this award. Nominees also had to meet specific requirements in terms of games played and games started during the 2025 season. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Notes: First CSC Academic All-District award; 2025 Second Team All-GPAC; three-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete; one goal and three assists in 69 career games played (32 starts).
Adrian Wambua | Sr. | D | Nairobi, Kenya
Major: Psychology & Criminal Justice (Minor in Pre-Law)
Notes: First CSC Academic All-District award; 2025 Honorable Mention All-GPAC; three-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete; two goals and one assist in 68 career games played (63 starts) as a defender.
Michael Wyvill | Jr. | GK | Lincoln, Neb.
Major: Business Administration
Notes: Two-time CSC Academic All-District award winner; two-time Honorable Mention All-GPAC; two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete; four goals in 52 career games played (41 starts) as a defender.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk (in the CSC release) and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Dec. 16, 2025 (men) and Dec. 17, 2025 (women).
