Skipworth picks up GPAC soccer honor

Concordia’s Aaron Skipworth (Colorado Springs, Colo.) is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week.  The junior forward played a key role in Concordia’s wins over York College and Mount Marty College last week.  

The Bulldogs got back on the winning track with a convincing 7-2 win over York College to open last week.  Skipworth had a huge day.  He had a hat trick and added an assist in the Bulldog victory.  Skipworth now has a team-high eight goals scored on the year.  

With the two wins last week, Concordia improved to 8-3-1 overall on the season.  The Bulldogs are 2-2 in conference play entering this week’s games against Midland University (Oct. 12) and at Morningside College (Oct. 15).
