Lias and Geu receive NAIA Scholar-Athlete award

The NAIA has announced that 284 men's soccer student-athletes have been named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.  Seniors Jacob Lias and Dan Geu each received the honor for the Bulldogs.  In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.

This is the second Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award for both Lias and Geu.  Lias (Sioux Falls, S.D.) Lias started all 19 games as a defender for the Bulldogs in his senior season.  Geu (Colorado Spring, Colo.) appeared in 10 games with five starts in the 2010 season.

Concordia was 7-10-2 overall and 4-7 in the GPAC this season.
