
SEWARD, Neb. – The league office announced on Tuesday (Sept. 30) that Nolan Fuelberth was selected as the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Player of the Week. The goalkeeper was instrumental in the Bulldogs' shutout win (1-0) over Briar Cliff. Fuelberth is the first in the program to win the award this season and it’s the fifth of his career.
Out of Lincoln Southwest, Fuelberth blocked out six saves and earned his first shutout of the year in the Chargers' 16 shots. In seven games played, he has allowed eight goals (2nd in GPAC) and grabbed 29 total saves. The Northern Illinois University transfer has totaled a .784 save percentage (third in GPAC) in 548 minutes played.
Fuelberth now has nine career clean sheets with 107 saves in his time as a Bulldog. With 35 games played, he has allowed 31 goals or a 0.92 goals allowed average. With an impressive save percentage (.775), he has 15 wins and 3,042 minutes in goal.
Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Soccer will face off against Mount Marty on Wednesday (Oct. 1).
