Four Bulldogs earn honorable mention honors on OWH All-Nebraska Team

Four Concordia University men’s soccer players were honorable mention selections on the 2010 Omaha World Herald All-Nebraska NAIA team released on Christmas Day.  Todd May, Kurt O’Kelly, Nathan Douglas and Aaron Skipworth were recognized for their efforts in the 2010 season.

May appeared in 14 games during the 2010 season.  The sophomore midfielder from Brighton, England, was tied for third on the team with five goals.  He also added two assists.  His 12 total points was good for third on the team.  May was also an honorable mention All-GPAC selection this year. 

O’Kelly, a junior defender from Littleton, Colorado, started 18 games for the Bulldogs in 2010.  He totaled one goal and two assists for a total of four points.  His lone goal was a game-winning goal.  O’Kelly also picked up honorable mention All-GPAC honors this year. 

Douglas (Winnipeg, Manitoba) appeared in all 19 games with 16 starts for Concordia in his freshman season.  He finished second on the team with seven goals and led the team with five assists.  His 19 total points was also good for second on the team.

Skipworth was an All-GPAC Second Team selection this year for the Bulldogs.  The sophomore forward from Colorado Springs led Concordia with nine goals on the season.  He was second on the team with four assists for a team-best total of 22 points. 

Concordia was 7-10-2 overall and 4-7 in conference play this past season.  The Bulldogs also advanced to the GPAC Tournament in the 2010 season.
