
2025-26 Concordia Powerlifting Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – The fourth season of competitive lifting at Concordia University, Nebraska is slated to get underway in October. Head Coach Freddie Myles’ program has announced a 2025-26 schedule complete with four total events throughout the academic year. The program has continued its upward trajectory each season under the direction of Myles, who also serves as Concordia’s Director of Strength and Conditioning. Myles is assisted by Chevy Stout.
This past season saw the Bulldogs make waves on a national scale. At the 2025 Collegiate Powerlifting National Championships in Oklahoma City, Okla., Concordia posted place finishes of fifth on the women’s side and tied for 14th place on the men’s side. The individual medalists included national champion Rylee Ladd, Taylor Hedke (third place), Teya Badger (fourth place) and Wyatt Hosick (fourth place). For their top three placements, Ladd and Hedke earned All-America awards. The women’s team brought home a national banner for their efforts.
The new campaign will get started on Oct. 4 with the Concordia Collegiate Powerlifting Meet on Saturday, Oct. 4. The action will unfold inside the Walz Fieldhouse on the Concordia campus. The fall semester will also feature the Central Collegiate Cup Series (Nov. 22-23) hosted by Midland. As the calendar flips to 2026, the Bulldogs will shift focus to the Nebraska State Powerlifting Meet (Jan. 31 – Feb. 1) in Lincoln and the 2026 Collegiate Powerlifting National Championships in Kenner, La., April 9-12.
