RESULTS: Golf Genius (GGID = MMUMEN25)
YANKTON, S.D. – The 2025-26 season officially got underway on Monday (Aug. 25) for Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Golf. Ten Bulldogs navigated the course at Hillcrest Country Club on day one of two at the Mount Marty Invite. Freshman Tyler Weismann led the way for Concordia, shooting the team’s lowest score in his collegiate debut. Four Bulldogs shot 80 or lower on a pleasant day in Yankton, S.D.
Head Coach Brett Muller’s ’25-26 squad features plenty of new faces. Five of the team’s 10 competitors at the Mount Marty Invite are freshmen. Concordia’s round one team scores at the event were 318 for the ‘A’ team and 324 for the ‘B’ team.
Weismann (Gibbon, Neb.) and fellow freshman Calvin Zabloudil (Omaha, Neb.) shot 76 and 78, respectively, on the par 72 course. Both Weismann and Zabloudil will enter round two situated in the top 30 of the leaderboard of more than 70 golfers. The two rookies were followed in the ‘A’ lineup by seniors Jake Richmond (82) and Brock Rogers (82) and freshman Kamden Zomer (85). Richmond is coming off a fine spring that saw him earn two GPAC Golfer of the Week awards.
Junior Jacob Dowd and freshman Logan Krabbenhoft both shot 80 to pace the Bulldogs’ second grouping. The rest of the ‘B’ lineup included junior Jude Elgert (82), sophomore Landon Weinandt (82) and freshman Michael Koenig (90).
There are 14 total groupings with eight institutions represented at the Mount Marty Invite. On the team leaderboards, Concordia sits in 10th and 13th place, respectively. The second and final round is scheduled to tee off at 10 a.m. CT from Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton. Live results can be followed via Golf Genius.
