Seven Bulldogs open 2023-24 season at UC Ferguson Classic

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The 2023-24 Concordia University Men’s Golf season is officially underway. Seven Bulldogs represented the program on Monday (Aug. 28) at the UC Ferguson Classic hosted by Oklahoma City University. Over the first 36 holes of the 54-hole event, Concordia shot a team score of 303-294–597 while navigating the par 71 Lincoln Park Golf Course.

Head Coach Brett Muller’s squad is looking to improve upon a 2022-23 campaign that saw the Bulldogs place fifth in the GPAC and break the school record for lowest single season scoring average (300.3).

Now in his fifth season competing at Concordia, Papillion, Neb., native Drew D’Ercole equaled a personal low for a single round by shooting a three-under-par 68 to begin his tournament. D’Ercole led the way on day one with a total score of 68-75–143. He was followed in the team’s top four at the event by Justin Webert (71-78–149), Jake Hagerbaumer (78-73–151), Jake Richmond (75-79–154). All Bulldog scores from Monday are listed below.
