COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – In wrapping up the final round of the Bent Tree Intercollegiate on Tuesday (Sept. 22), Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Golf remained in ninth place. For a change, the Bulldogs did not compete against any of their conference rivals while playing a tournament loaded with strong junior college programs, including host Iowa Western Community College. All three rounds took place at Bent Tree Golf Club in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Head Coach Brett Muller’s squad shot 314-306-313–933 (+69) for the tournament. Individually, sophomore Logan Krabbenhoft emerged as the top Dawg and placed 31st out of 59 golfers in the tournament field.
A Lincoln Southwest High School product, Krabbenhoft turned in an overall score of 74-79-76–229 in leading the group of eight Concordia golfers at the Bent Tree Intercollegiate. Next in line, sophomore Tyler Weismann (81-72-79–232; T-36th) and junior Landon Weinandt (76-77-80–233; T-39th) also placed top 40. Meanwhile, the Nos. 4 and 5 spots in the lineup were held down by senior Jude Elgert (83-78-78–239; T-47th) and sophomore Calvin Zabloudil (83-83-80–246; T-51st).
Three Bulldogs competed in the tournament as individuals: sophomore Charlie Summy (80-83-81–244; 49th), freshman Wyatt Groves (85-83-78–246; T-51st) and senior Jacob Dowd (92-80-85–257; 55th).
Hutchinson Community College won the Bent Tree Intercollegiate title with a three-round total of 828. The rest of the top five was made up of Park University (Mo.) (868), Nebraska Wesleyan University (871), Iowa Western (871) and Dodge City Community College (875).

One final varsity event remains on the fall semester schedule. State bragging rights will be on the line when the Nebraska Intercollegiate takes place on Oct. 5-6. Centura Hills Golf Club in Cairo, Neb., will serve as the venue for the 2026 Nebraska Intercollegiate.
