YANKTON / VERMILLION, S.D. – Eight Bulldogs represented the Concordia University Men’s Golf program at the Mount Marty Invite that played out Tuesday and Wednesday (Aug. 29-30). Junior Josh D’Ercole paced Concordia while shooting a two-round total of 80-73–153. The action took place at Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton, S.D., on day one before shifting to The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion, S.D., on day two. Both courses were par 72.
The other seven golfers on Head Coach Brett Muller’s roster competed at the UC Ferguson Classic (Aug. 28-29) as part of the first week of the 2023-24 season. The Concordia group at Mount Marty carded a team score of 319-310–629 and placed fourth out of 11 teams.
The younger brother of Drew, Josh D’Ercole shined on day two of the Mount Marty Invite and moved into the top 10 on the individual leaderboard. Two other Bulldogs placed inside the top 20: Jacob Woodmancy (79-78–157) and Jaxson Fullerton (76-81–157). Complete Concordia scores from the event are listed below. The tournament included competitors from five GPAC institutions.

Next up for Bulldog Men’s Golf will be the Blue River Invite (Sept. 5-6) that the program co-hosts with Doane. Both days of action will unfold at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, the home course for Concordia.
