2023-24 Concordia Men’s Golf Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – As of mid-July, Concordia University Men’s Golf has unveiled its schedule for the fall of 2023. The program’s slate for the spring semester of 2024 will be released at a later date. The 2023-24 campaign will get started on Aug. 28-29 with the UC Ferguson Classic hosted by Oklahoma City University. This will mark the second year in a row that the varsity season will open at the UC Ferguson Classic. The fall semester will feature a total of six events, including five varsity tournaments.
Head Coach Brett Muller’s squad comes off a 2022-23 season that saw it place fifth at the GPAC Championships. Both Drew D’Ercole and Ivan Yabut garnered all-conference awards while leading a team that broke the program record for single season scoring average (300.3).
Following the UC Ferguson Classic, the Bulldogs will continue the season with the Blue River Invite (Sept. 5-6), the Siouxland Invite (Sept. 11-12), the Hastings College Invite (Sept. 25-26) and the Nebraska Intercollegiate (Oct. 6-7). Both days of action at the annual Blue River Invite will be held at the home course, Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln. In addition, Concordia will send a junior varsity squad to the Mount Marty Invite on Aug. 29-30.
The 2024 GPAC Championships will take place in the spring at a course to be determined. The 2024 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship is slated to be played at Dalton Golf and Country Club in Dalton, Ga., May 21-24.
