Concordia Men's Golf honored with Presidents Special Recognition from GCAA

SEWARD, Neb. – As announced by Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Aug. 5, Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Golf has been recognized with the 2024-25 PLATFORM Team Academic Award. For earning a cumulative team grade-point average of better than 3.5 for this past academic year, Head Coach Brett Muller’s squad has received Presidents Special Recognition.

A GCAA-record 292 schools across six divisions earned a Platform Golf Team Academic Award. 129 schools received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above. Concordia is one of nine men’s golf programs in the NAIA to earn Presidents Special Recognition.

On July 29, three Bulldogs were announced as 2024-25 Cobalt All-America Scholars: Jake Hagerbaumer, Jake Richmond and Justin Webert. This past year, Head Coach Brett Muller’s team also collected three Academic All-District awards (College Sports Communicators) and five NAIA Scholar-Athlete accolades.
