SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – Eight Bulldogs stand within five strokes of each other following two rounds of action at the 2023 Siouxland Invite. As a result, the Concordia University Men’s Golf ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams carded remarkably similar scores on Monday (Sept. 11) as action took place at The Ridge Golf Club in Sioux Center, Iowa. The field includes 89 golfers from 10 different institutions (17 total groupings on the team leaderboard).
Head Coach Brett Muller’s ‘A’ team carded a total of 306-298–604 while the ‘B’ team shot 305-301–606. The Bulldog squads stand in 10th and 11th place, respectively.
Complete Concordia individual scores are listed below. The two lowest individual scores on Monday were turned in by Jacob Woodmancy (78-71–149) and Jake Richmond (74-75–149). They are tied for 28th. After a tough first round, top golfer Drew D’Ercole rebounded and shot 73 in round two. D’Ercole and Justin Webert are coming off top five finishes at last week’s Blue River Classic.
