SEWARD, Neb. – The Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Golf program was honored on Aug. 5 as a 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipient by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). A GCAA-record 331 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award. 155 schools received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above in 2025-26. Concordia emerged as one of 11 NAIA men’s golf programs to achieve Presidents Special Recognition.
Two days earlier, 2025-26 senior Jake Richmond was recognized by the GCAA as an NAIA Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar. This past academic year, Bret Brenneis and Jacob Dowd also earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards in representation of Head Coach Brett Muller’s program.
