Won a starting linebacker role and posted 41 tackles, six tackles for loss, a pass breakup and one sack ... turned in a season high 10 tackles both at Briar Cliff on Oct. 13 and versus Hastings on Oct. 20.
2017: Sophomore
Served as a backup linebacker, recording 16 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery ... notched three tackles, one for loss, and one pass breakup in the win over Ottawa on Sept. 9 ... recovered a fumble in the win over Doane on Sept. 23.

Prepped at West Holt Rural High School (Neb.) for head coach Steve Neptune … lettered and started all four years at the varsity level … honors as a junior and senior included first team all-district, first team all-area and honorable mention all-state laurels and was selected to play in the NE Shrine Bowl … helped the Huskies to the state playoffs three times … also lettered each year in basketball, track and field and competed at the state level.
