SEWARD, Neb. – The 2025 Concordia University, Nebraska Football season will kick off underneath the Bulldog Stadium lights. The official ’25 slate was unveiled on May 9 and features the usual 10 GPAC conference games to be played September through mid-November. It will get started on Sept. 6 when rival Doane makes a visit to Seward for a 7 p.m. CT clash. The schedule is balanced with five home games and five away games.

Head Coach Patrick Daberkow’s squad is coming off a stellar 2024 campaign that saw it go 8-2 with a final NAIA national ranking of No. 18. The ’24 squad rewrote the program’s offensive record books behind All-American receiver Austin Jablonski and quarterback DJ McGarvie. Concordia will have a new look to it in 2025 after graduating a senior class heavy on quality and quantity. Returning All-GPAC honorees will include defensive lineman Carson Fehlhafer, safety Daylon Henson, receiver Adam Van Cleave and linebacker Grant Huss.

In 2025, the Bulldogs will play the same 10 GPAC opponents they faced in 2024. On momentous dates, Concordia will host Midland for homecoming on Oct. 11 and will battle Northwestern as part of senior day festivities on Nov. 15. Other home dates, in addition to the season opener versus Doane, will be Sept. 13 versus Dakota Wesleyan (also a night game) and Nov. 1 versus Briar Cliff.

For the first time ever, the Bulldogs will play in Forest City, Iowa, (on Oct. 4) home to Waldorf, which became a GPAC member beginning in 2024. Key road trips will include visits to Morningside on Oct. 25 and Dordt on Nov. 8. Following two home night games to open 2025, the final eight games of the regular season are each slated to kick off at 1 p.m. CT.

The first round of the NAIA Football Championship Series is set for Nov. 22. The playoffs will continue with the second round on Nov. 29, the quarterfinals on Dec. 6, the semifinals on Dec. 13 and the national championship game on Dec. 22. The location for the 2025 national championship has not yet been announced by the NAIA.
