Bulldogs to open GPAC play at Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday

Concordia University opens GPAC play on Saturday when they visit Dakota Wesleyan.  Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Mitchell, S.D.

The Bulldogs suffered a 45-0 loss at Benedictine College in the opening week of the season.  Following a bye week, Concordia will hope to get back on track against one of the better teams in the conference.

Dakota Wesleyan is receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll.  The Tigers rolled to a 56-20 win over Dakota State last week.  Quarterback Jon Bane threw four touchdown passes, and the DWU defense forced six turnovers in the lopsided win.  Last year, Dakota Wesleyan cruised to a 56-0 win over Concordia in a game also played in Mitchell.
