How did you get into esports?
I got into E-Sports because I have always loved playing videogames for fun. When I heard through some friends that we were getting E-sports I thought it sounded cool, but I didn’t think I could do it. I had never played CU games before, or League of Legends. My freshman year I had watched Concordia Texas streams of League and thought that it looked really fun to play. My friends said that Coach was a League player and would help me become a better player, even though I was a beginner. I talked to him and joined the team and have had fun playing League and growing my skills ever since.

What’s your favorite game and why?
Well, my favorite game to play in the E-Sports room would be League of Legends, because I actually know how to play that one. At home, some of my favorites are Banjo-Kazooie (fun, colorful, and adventure), Cruisin’ the World (great vibes), and Donkey Kong (because it is so satisfying to beat your siblings on hard songs and I love music).

Why did you choose Concordia?
I chose to go to Concordia because of their amazing Education program, my mom and aunt are alumni, I wanted to go to a Christian college, and I liked the small-town vibe of Seward and the campus.

What are your esports goals?
My goals are to become a good enough player to be able to compete confidently and grow not only in my skills and knowledge of the game but also in my teamwork as well. I want to be able to support my team to victory.
