    Dance tops Doane in dual meet

    In its second competition of the season, the Concordia University dance team picked up a victory, triumphing over Doane, 74.7 – 70.2, on Wednesday (Feb. 8). The Bulldogs are now 1-1 on the season.

  • In a dual with conference foe Hastings, first-year head coach Mandi Maser’s squad fell by a score of 75.7 – 74 on Wednesday (Jan. 25). It was the Bulldogs' first competition of 2017.

  • The Concordia dance team competed at the NAIA North Regional Qualifier on Friday afternoon. The squad finished in sixth place with a score of 90.33.

  • Milford, Neb., native Heather Duff has been named Concordia University head dance and cheer coach, as announced by the athletic department on Monday.

  • In a competition that took place Saturday morning at the 2015 Concordia Invitational Tournament, head dance and cheer coach Daneen Kovar’s Bulldogs topped Concordia University, Ann Arbor, 97.3 – 74, in Ann Arbor, Mich.

  • Head coach Daneen Kovar’s dance and cheer squads began their 2014-15 seasons on Wednesday night with competitions versus Doane that took place at halftime of the women’s and men’s basketball games inside Walz Arena.
