Morrissey picks up second straight GPAC honor

For the second straight week, Concordia’s Colin Morrissey is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week.

Morrissey, a junior from Omaha, finished third in the Woody Greeno Invite this past weekend in Lincoln.  Morrissey ran a time of 25:38 and led the Bulldog men to a fourth place finish in the College Division that had 21 teams in the field.

Morrissey’s time was good for 16th overall in the University/College combined division.  The University Division featured schools such as Nebraska, Wichita State, Air Force and Wyoming.

Both Concordia University cross country squads will take part in the Roy Griak Invite this weekend in St. Paul, Minn.
