Head Coach Matt Beisel’s squads kicked off their 2026 seasons at the Augustana Twilight on Sept. 4. The Bulldogs emerged with place finishes of sixth out of 33 on the men’s side and 10th out of 28 on the women’s side. The largescale meet included strong competition from NAIA, NCAA and junior college institutions. The leaders for Concordia individually were senior Trey Robertson (15:42.1 in the 5k) for the men and freshman Hope Beck (18:42.3 in the 5K) for the women. The meet was pushed back late into the night due to extreme heat that day around the Midwest. For a detailed summary of the Augie Twilight, check out the meet recap HERE.

The next release of NAIA national ratings is scheduled for Sept. 24. The Concordia men received votes in the 2026 preseason rating. Both Bulldog squads were pegged third in the GPAC preseason coaches’ poll.

At the 2025 Greeno-Dirksen Invite, Concordia finished eighth out of 16 on the women’s side and ninth out of 17 on the men’s side (in the gold division). Robertson finished the 8k race in 25:42.04 and placed 15th. Meanwhile, Keeli Green finished the women’s 5k in 18:21.78 and placed ninth.

Following the Greeno-Dirksen, the Bulldogs will resume the season at the Briar Cliff Invite on Saturday, Oct. 3. The meet is scheduled to get underway at 8:30 a.m. CT from Freedom Park in South Sioux City, S.D.
