Einspahr to speak at Nebraska Coaches Association Multi-Sport Clinic

SEWARD, Neb. – Concordia University head cross country and track and field coach Kregg Einspahr has accepted an invitation to speak at the Nebraska Coaches Association (NCA) Multi-Sport Clinic on Tuesday, July 23. The clinic is set to take place at Lincoln North Star High School.

Einspahr, who will be speaking at the NCA clinic for the third time in the last 12 years, will give two talks – 'Endurance Training: The role of hormones in stress and recovery' and 'Endurance Training: Timecourse of physiological changes.' The first speech will begin at 1 p.m. with the second to follow at 2:30 p.m. The full clinic schedule can be viewed HERE.

The Bulldog head coach of 21 years has been awarded conference or regional head coaching awards more than 30 times in his career, most recently garnering 2012 GPAC Men’s Cross Country Coach of the Year after Concordia captured the conference championship.

In addition to winning the men’s GPAC cross country title, Einspahr led both the men’s and women’s track and field teams to second-place finishes at the 2013 conference outdoor meet. A total of 15 Bulldogs earned All-American honors in one or more events at the 2013 indoor national championships, followed by nine more individuals garnering All-America honors at outdoor nationals.

During his tenure, Einspahr has won nine combined GPAC cross country titles and two women’s track and field conference championships. Since 2000, Einspahr’s teams have been NAIA national runner up six times in track or cross country. He is a member of the Concordia athletics Hall of Fame.
