Schedule Release: 2027 Concordia Competitive Cheer

2027 Concordia University, Nebraska Competitive Cheer Schedule

SEWARD, Neb. – The Concordia University, Nebraska Competitive Cheer program has announced the completion schedule for the upcoming 2027 season. The Bulldogs will open the season in January 2027 at the Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Classic, the first of six regular season events on the slate. It will mark the 11th season of official competition for NAIA cheer.

Concordia Cheer will have a new head coach next season. Emilie Ashenbach announced her resignation following three years in the head coaching role. The Bulldogs finished last season in eighth place at the GPAC Championships. Last season, Karmen Fitch and Brinkly Sallach represented the team with GPAC All-Conference awards.

The 2027 schedule features the Concordia Invitational, set for Feb. 6 inside Friedrich Arena. This will mark the ninth straight season that the Bulldogs have hosted a largescale cheer and dance competition. That same weekend of the Concordia Invite, Concordia will also compete at the York Crown Classic (Feb. 5). In February, the season will continue with the Northwestern Invitational (Feb. 13), Baker Invitational (Feb. 21) and McPherson Doghouse Classic (Feb. 27).

The 2027 GPAC Championships are locked in for March 6 for cheer and will be hosted by Midland. For the second year in a row, the NAIA National Championships will be staged in Topeka, Kan. The 2027 national championships are set for March 26-27.
