Inconsistencies result in third place claim at Doane Invite

CRETE, Neb. – In its return to action following the Concordia Invitational Tournament, Concordia University Competitive Cheer fell short of the type of crisp, clean routine that it sought. Some inconsistencies cost the Bulldogs on Friday (Feb. 3) as they wound up in third place at the five-time Doane Cheer & Dance Invite held inside the Haddix Center in Crete, Neb. Concordia earned a score of 70.60 and placed behind Dordt (76.97) and Doane (76.27).

On the plus side, Head Coach Mandi Maser’s squad defeated Hastings (65.30) and Mount Marty (50.33). Said Maser, “Tonight we had a great warmup for cheer and unfortunately didn’t hit the routine during competition. We just need to be more consistent. We are letting this one go and looking ahead to the next competition.”
