SEWARD, Neb. – Two freshmen represented Concordia University, Nebraska Competitive Cheer on the list of 2026 GPAC All-Conference honorees. As announced at the 2026 GPAC Championships on March 6, freshmen Bulldogs Karmen Fitch and Brinkly Sallach earned all-conference accolades.

Head Coach Emilie Ashenbach’s squad placed eighth at the GPAC Championships with a total score of 76.73. The team’s season best score of 77.28 was achieved at the Midland Invite (third place). Concordia also placed third at the Concordia Invite with a score of 77.0.

Fitch and Sallach competed at all eight events during the 2026 competition season. Fitch is a Lincoln native and Papillion La Vista South High School alum. She is majoring in Business Administration. Sallach hails from Red Oak, Iowa, and is a graduate of Red Oak High School. She is majoring in Psychology.

All-GPAC honors are awarded based on pre-recorded individual performances that are judged outside of team competitions. To be selected for the all-conference teams, the student-athletes needed to perform a set of skills as outlined by the NAIA Cheer Coaches' Handbook. A minimum score on these skills (as judged) was required for selection for the teams.
