Returned to the program for a fifth season and staretd 30 games (missed one) while playing 27.2 minutes per game ... averaged 13.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.2 blocks per game ... shot 47.2 percent (146-for-309) from the floor, 29.5 percent (28-for-95) from 3-point range and 71.9 percent (69-for-96) from the foul line ... notched a triple-double of 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists at Morningside ... collected a season high 28 points versus Dordt on Feb. 4 ... totaled 25 points and 10 rebounds in the home win over Dakota Wesleyan ... produced eight double-doubles ... completed career with all-time program rankings of second in rebounds (899), 11th in assists (282) and 14th in scoring (1,355) ... played in 134 career games and was a member of three national tournament teams.

2021-22: Senior
Played in 32 of 35 games, making 31 starts while playing 24.3 minutes per game ... averaged 13.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.6 blocks per game ... shot 54.1 percent (160-for-296) from the floor, 33.3 percent (26-for-78) from 3-point range and 72.4 percent (92-for-127) from the foul line ... racked up season high 28 points in the win over Hastings on Jan. 26 ... grabbed season best 14 rebounds in the national tournamen win over Marian ... by season's end, career totals moved to 964 points and 634 rebounds (10th most rebounds in program history).

2020-21: Junior
Started in all 26 games, averaging  ​​​​​​23.1 minutes of playing time... also averaging 13.9 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game...recording shooting percentages of .526 (131-of-249) from the floor,  .357 ( 30-for-84) from 3-point range and .821 ( 69-for-84) from the free-throw line...recording a few career highs of 32 points against Dakota Wesleyan (Feb 6.), 19 rebounds against Manhattan Christian (Nov. 7) and a career high of five assists against Midland  (Nov. 10).

2019-20: Sophomore
Appeared in 26 games, made one start and averaged 11.2 minutes per game ... averaged 4.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game ... posted shooting percentages of .406 (26-for-43) from the floor, .349 (22-for-63) from 3-point range and .542 (13-for-24) from the foul line ... tallied a career high 15 points on five 3-point field goals at Dordt on Feb. 8 ... grabbed a career high 11 rebounds at Midland on Feb. 19.

2018-19: Freshman
Saw action in 20 games, averaging 6.2 minutes per contest ... averaged 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game ... went 16-for-33 (.485) from the field 7-for-20 (.350) from 3-point range ... tallied a season high 10 points in the win over Barclay (Kan.) on Nov. 3, 2018.

High School
Gage played for Coach Mike Boss at Elizabeth High School. He was a three time letter, two time starter for the cardinals. He was voted captain for those two years. Gage was awarded All-League honorable mention, academic All-State, and First team state qualifier for two years.

Personal
Gage was born in Westminter, Colorado to Lance and Michelle Smith. Gage has three younger siblings, Kylee, Tristan and Haley. Gage loves to go camping, fish, play golf and baseball.
