
2026-27 Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Basketball Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – The Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Basketball program has finalized its 28-game varsity regular season slate for the 2026-27 campaign. The 14th season of Head Coach Ben Limback’s tenure will tip off in late October and will include a pre-Christmas trip to The Sunshine State. The schedule is broken down into 20 GPAC regular season games and eight nonconference contests.
Limback’s program will be coming off a 2025-26 season that saw it finish at 19-12 overall and as the GPAC tournament runner up. From that squad, the Bulldogs will bring back all-conference honorees in the form of first teamer Brooks Kissinger, second teamer Dane Jacobsen and honorable mention choice Jaxon Stueve. Kissinger will be the GPAC’s leading returning scorer after he averaged 22.1 points as a junior.
The new season of Concordia Men’s Basketball will get underway in the state of Kansas with trips to Kansas Wesleyan University and 2026 national qualifier Bethel College (Oct. 29-30) in late October. The following week, the Bulldogs will host the 27th annual Cattle Classic (Nov. 6-7). The Cattle Classic field will include Hastings, Maharishi International University (Iowa) and Judson University (Ill.). In other nonconference home matchups, Concordia will welcome Ottawa University (Kan.) (Nov. 10) and Hesston College (Kan.) (Jan. 27) to Friedrich Arena. The lengthiest road trip will take the Bulldogs to Florida for games at Warner University (Dec. 19) and New College of Florida (Dec. 20).
Limback’s crew will have five nonconference games under its belt by the time GPAC play opens with a visit to Waldorf on Nov. 14. In a rematch of the 2026 GPAC Championship Game, Concordia will host Northwestern on Nov. 21. Clashes with reigning GPAC regular season titlist Morningside will occur on Jan. 6 and Feb. 6. The regular season will conclude on Feb. 20 with a home game versus Hastings.
The postseason will begin on Feb. 24 with the GPAC tournament quarterfinals. The conference postseason will continue with the semifinals on Feb. 27 and championship game on March 2. Dates for the NAIA National Championship tournament are March 12-13 for the first/second rounds and March 18-23 for action at the final site, Municipal Auditorium in downtown Kansas City, Mo.
