SEWARD, Neb. – Four Bulldogs from the GPAC tournament finalist Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Basketball team have been lauded with 2025-26 GPAC All-Conference awards. As announced by the league office on Wednesday (March 4), junior Brooks Kissinger was selected to the GPAC’s first team while junior Dane Jacobsen was named to the second team. In addition, senior Zac Kulus and Jaxon Stueve garnered honorable mention status.
Head Coach Ben Limback’s squad stands at 19-12 overall following Tuesday’s defeat in the GPAC Championship Game. The official 64-team national tournament bracket is scheduled to be released on Thursday.
A 6-foot-3 guard out of Ashland-Greenwood High School, Kissinger has risen to stardom as a junior. In 30 games this season, Kissinger is averaging 22.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.0 steal per game. He is shooting 59.0 percent (237-for-402) from the field, 34.2 percent (25-for-73) from beyond the arc and 63.3 percent (164-for-259) from the foul line. Kissinger has been incredibly consistent in reaching the 20-point mark 21 times this season while earning four GPAC Player of the Week awards. He poured in a career-high 33 points twice against Morningside with one of those outings resulting in a triple-double. In the GPAC semifinal win at Morningside, Kissinger became the 39th player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points. Among GPAC players, Kissinger ranks third in scoring average, fifth in rebounds per game, sixth in field goal percentage and 15th in assists per game.
A fellow Ashland-Greenwood alum, Jacobsen has hit the ground running in his first season as a starter at the collegiate level. The sophomore point guard is averaging 13.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game while having started all 31 contests. He sports shooting percentages of 52.1 (146-for-280) from the field, 46.4 (51-for-110) from 3-point range and 86.3 (69-for-80) from the foul line. Jacobsen’s career-high of 25 points came in the double overtime clash with Morningside. He has scored 20 or more points six times this season. Jacobsen dished out 11 assists in the home win over Waldorf.
The Concordia Omaha High School alum Kulus has served as a dependable four-year contributor (three-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete). His senior year has been his most productive. Kulus is averaging 10.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game in 29 outings. The sharpshooter has drained 44.3 percent (77-for-174) of his 3-point attempts and is shooting 47.6 percent (109-for-229) overall and 80.8 percent (21-for-26) from the foul line. Kulus twice put up a career high of 21 points in regular season matchups with Dordt. Kulus has totaled 707 career points while making 170 3-point field goals in 114 games. He has played in three national tournaments.
The Bellevue West High School alum Stueve has stood out as one of the Bulldogs’ top defenders in his three seasons. This 2025-26 campaign, Stueve is averaging 10.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steal per game while starting all 31 contests. Stueve is shooting 45.2 percent (117-for-259) from the field, 30.5 percent (40-for-131) from 3-point range and 73.2 percent (60-for-82) from the foul line. Stueve produced a season-high 20 points in the January home win over Midland. In 94 career collegiate games, Stueve has compiled 777 points, 274 rebounds, 150 assists and 91 steals.
