Kissinger career high nets GPAC award

SEWARD, Neb. – A starring performance at the 26th annual Cattle Classic led to accolades on Tuesday (Nov. 11) for Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Basketball junior Brooks Kissinger. The league office named Kissinger the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Offensive Player of the Week. The announcement marks the first career weekly award for Kissinger.

The Ashland, Neb., native spearheaded Cattle Classic wins over Oklahoma City University, 87-76, and Clarke University (Iowa), 107-68, this past weekend. In the victory over Oklahoma City, Kissinger poured in a career-high 31 points on 13-for-19 shooting from the floor. The next day, Kissinger just missed a triple-double as he tallied 18 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. For the week, Kissinger amassed 49 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists. He was named to the All-Cattle Classic team.

The Ashland-Greenwood High School alum is a Business Administration major. In 69 career collegiate games, Kissinger has totaled 433 points, 164 rebounds and 73 assists.

The Bulldogs (3-2) will tip off 2025-26 GPAC action on Saturday by hosting Waldorf. Tipoff is set for 4:45 p.m. CT inside Friedrich Arena.
