Concordia travels to Northwestern this evening for key GPAC contest

Northwestern College hosts Concordia University in GPAC men’s basketball action this evening in Orange City, Iowa.  Tip is scheduled for 8 p.m.  The two teams are currently tied for second in the GPAC standings with a 4-1 record.  Last season, Concordia needed four overtimes to earn a 117-111 win over the Red Raiders. 

Northwestern College enters this evening’s contest with a record of 11-4.  The Raiders have won six straight, including Mayville State (85-79) and Grace Bible (91-68) this past weekend at the Dordt College Classic. 

Concordia is 10-3 on the season following a strong performance at the Bethel College Classic this past weekend.  The Bulldogs picked up a 70-58 win over Bethel College and followed that up with an 86-74 win over Friends University.

Northwestern College is 4-1 at home this season, while Concordia has a 2-3 record in road games so far this year.
