Concordia picked sixth in preseason men's basketball poll

The Bulldog men’s basketball team was selected sixth in the GPAC preseason men’s basketball poll released on Monday.  Concordia is tied with Hastings College with 71 points. 

The University of Sioux Falls was selected as the coaches’ selection to win the GPAC Championship with 120 points and 10 first place votes.  Briar Cliff was selected second with 105 points and one first place vote, and Northwestern was third with 92 points.  Dakota Wesleyan (91 points and one first place vote) and Dordt College (82) came in fourth and fifth, respectively, in the poll. 

Morningside College (52) and Nebraska Wesleyan (43) came in at eighth and ninth.  Mount Marty and Midland University tied for 10th, and Doane College rounds out the poll.

Concordia went 18-12 overall and 12-6 in conference play last season
