Concordia men picked seventh in GPAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

Concordia University is picked to finish seventh in the 2011-12 GPAC Men’s Basketball Preseason Coaches’ Poll that was released on Thursday.  

Northwestern College earned 10 of the possible 11 first place votes and totaled 100 points to be the coaches’ preseason selection to win the GPAC Championship.  Dordt College is second after receiving the final first place vote and 87 points.  Morningside College (72), Briar Cliff University (65) and Dakota Wesleyan University (64) round out the top five, while Midland University finished just ahead of Concordia in sixth place with 53 points.  The Bulldogs totaled 47 points in the preseason poll.  

Concordia opens the 2011-12 season at the York College Tip Off Classic on November 4 and 5.
