2011 GPAC preseason baseball poll released

The Concordia University baseball team is picked to finish 11th in the 2011 GPAC preseason baseball poll.  The Bulldogs finished the 2010 season with a 14-36 overall record to go along with an 11-13 mark in GPAC play. 

Mount Marty College, who received 11 of the 12 first place votes and 121 points, is the baseball coaches’ choice to win the 2011 GPAC title.  The Lancers were 39-17 overall and 20-4 in conference play last season.  Northwestern College is second with the final first place vote and 99 points, while the University of Sioux Falls is third with 98 points. 

The GPAC baseball season will consist of 22 games (11 doubleheaders) and conclude with the GPAC postseason tournament on May 57 in Hastings, Neb.
