Slate released for 2015 baseball season

SEWARD, Neb. – First-year head coach Ryan Dupic is slated to make his Bulldog debut on Feb. 24 when the 2015 Concordia baseball season gets underway at Kansas Wesleyan University. It will mark the first time since the 1998 season that someone other than Jeremy Geidel served as Bulldog skipper. The entirety of the 2015 baseball schedule can be viewed HERE.

For the second-straight season, the Bulldogs will be headed to Tucson, Ariz., in early March for a weeklong spring break trip. Exact dates, times and opponents are still being finalized. Last year Concordia went 6-4 on its Arizona swing by winning the final six games of the trip.

Other non-conference opponents include Oklahoma Wesleyan (Feb. 27-28), Grace University (March 4, April 8), Dakota State University (March 21-22), York College (March 24, April 14) and Manhattan Christian College (March 31).

The GPAC season begins March 28 when Dordt College visits Seward for a doubleheader. The busiest stretch of home contests comes April 18-23 when the Bulldogs welcome three GPAC opponents for three separate doubleheaders at Plum Creek Park.

Dupic takes over at Concordia after having spent the past eight seasons as the top assistant coach at NCAA Division III Buena Vista University. During that time, the Beavers went 194-109 with two Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament titles and three NCAA Division III national tournament appearances.
