SHREVEPORT, La. – The Concordia University Baseball team never got to take the field on Monday (May 13). Rain and thunderstorms postponed the bulk of the day’s action that was scheduled to take place in Shreveport, La., one of 10 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round sites. The first game of the bracket, between No. 4 seed Talladega College (Ala.) and No. 5 seed Blue Mountain Christian College (Miss.), reached the bottom of the seventh before lightning moved into the area.
The revised bracket schedule is included below. The remainder of the tournament will be held at BPCC Baseball Field - Bossier Parish Community College (6220 E Texas St, Bossier City, LA 71111). This change was made due to field condition considerations.
