Baseball picked ninth in GPAC preseason poll

GPAC release

SEWARD, Neb. – Following a ninth-place conference finish in 2014, the Concordia University baseball team has been picked to repeat that performance in 2015. The Bulldogs checked in at No. 9 in the GPAC preseason coaches’ poll, released on Monday by the conference.

Concordia has a new leader in 2015 with Ryan Dupic, a seven-year assistant at NCAA Division III Buena Vista University, taking over as head coach. The Bulldogs return honorable mention all-conference players in senior right-handed pitcher Will Holbrook, senior outfielder Daniel Wilkerson and junior outfielder Taylor Dudley coming off a 2014 campaign that included a 16-30 overall record.

Concordia is scheduled to open the 2015 season on Saturday, Feb. 14 with a twin bill at Bethany College (Kan.).
