Why Concordia? The incoming class explains

Why Concordia? The incoming class of student-athletes explained their reasoning as part of a survey. For many new Bulldogs, Concordia University, Nebraska felt like home. Below is a sampling of survey answers from a range of different sports.

Lauren Ada, Cross Country/Track & Field

I really wanted to continue my Christian education at a university that was close to home. When I visited the campus, I felt welcomed and comfortable and I honestly think God was leading me here for a reason. In addition, I am able to continue my running career with an amazing team!

Jaelyn Adler, Cheer

I chose to attend Concordia University because when I visited it felt like home.

It was a great fit for me. I really liked the coaches and just the energy that Concordia has really showed me this is where I want to be.

Such a great school and a phenomenal track program. Close to home, which I like, and the coaches are awesome. I felt at home when I visited and wanted to be the most comfortable wherever I decided to attend.

I wanted to attended a small Christian school and surround myself with peers and professors that had the same beliefs as me. If running cross country was an option then it would be a bonus. I was really impressed by Coach Matt Beisel from the start and knew that I could be inspired by him and that this team would be my family away from home.

Coach seems to really believe in me and I can see myself here. Also CUNE girls basketball is a powerhouse and this is such a great opportunity.

Concordia is amazing all around. They have helped me all sorts of ways. The coach is great and has treated me amazing. The admission staff has done so much for me already. The education department seems like it will help me achieve everything for being a successful teacher.
