SEWARD, Neb. – For the 11th-straight year, 104.9 Max Country (KTMX FM) will serve as the radio home for Concordia University, Nebraska Athletics. The two sides have announced a broadcast schedule for the upcoming fall semester of 2025. Once again, 104.9 will air live broadcasts of Bulldog football, volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball games.

July 24, 2025, marked the 10th anniversary of the initial announcement of the partnership between Concordia Athletics and Max Country. The first live broadcast for 2025-26 is scheduled for Aug. 16 when the Concordia Volleyball team will host York University in its season opener. Bulldog Football will make its season debut on Sept. 6 when rival Doane pays a visit to Bulldog Stadium for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff.

In addition to live game broadcasts, Max Country hosts the weekly Bulldog Coaches Show, which will resume on Aug. 28. The Bulldog Coaches Show airs every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. CT and features host Parker Cyza, the familiar voice of Concordia football and basketball and KTMX/KAWL Sports Director.

Cyza returns for his fifth year calling Concordia Athletics events. In addition to football and basketball duties, Cyza will hold down the volleyball play-by-play role when not conflicting with football. Eric Allgood will also fill volleyball broadcast duties for select matches. Allgood was recently hired as the Radio/Video/Digital Programmer for Nebraska Rural Radio Association. Allgood possesses more than 21 years of experience in the broadcast industry and spent the previous 10 years with StrivTV. For StrivTV, Allgood oversaw streaming for Nebraska high school sports and activities, including state championship events.

Throughout the football season, Cyza will be joined in the booth once again by Nebraska Football Hall of Famer and NAIA Hall of Famer Ross Wurdeman, a former Concordia All-American tight end. For home basketball and potential national tournaments broadcasts, Cyza will often team up with Director of Athletics Devin Smith, a Concordia Athletics Hall of Famer and standout on the first national tournament team in men’s basketball program history.

Bulldog fans are encouraged to download the Max Country app on their favorite devices. Max Country audio can also be streamed from its website. Alongside radio broadcasts, fans can access live webcasts for most Concordia varsity sporting events via the Concordia Sports Network / GPAC Network: https://www.cune.edu/athletics/watch-bulldogs.
