    Chavarria earns first weekly award

    Goalkeeper Inigo Chavarria was announced as the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week by the league office on Tuesday (Oct. 28). Chavarria helped lead to a shutout of Dordt.

  • CUNE Men’s Soccer is in its final week of regular season play hosting in-state rival Doane for the last contest of the scheduled slate. The Bulldogs defeated Dordt on Saturday and have won four of their last five matches.

  • Inigo Chavarria locked down the Dordt attack finding quality attempts but couldn’t respond to the two scores by the Bulldogs in the second frame on Saturday. Jasper Hofland slid in the game-winner just after the halftime break.

  • With only two games left in the regular season, CUNE Men’s Soccer will host Dordt on Saturday in Bulldog Stadium. The Dawgs split their last two contests on the road, taking a loss in Fremont to Midland (3-0) and besting Dakota Wesleyan.

  • In an effort to keep position in the GPAC standings, Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Soccer executed on its quality chances to defeat Dakota Wesleyan (2-1) on Saturday.

  • Clad in the new navy and pin striped kits, the Bulldogs put the Waldorf defense in a pressure cooker for all 90 minutes of the 5-0 shutout on Homecoming. CUNE Men’s Soccer dialed up five goals from five different players.
