Department of Human and Social Sciences

Dr. Sara Brady teaches psychology courses, including Introduction to Psychological and Social Research, Personality Theories and Social Psychology. She also mentors undergraduate student research, sponsors the Social Science Club on campus and organizes Concordia’s Academic and Research Symposium in the spring. Before coming to Concordia, Dr. Brady taught psychology courses at Charleston Southern University in South Carolina and worked as a senior research and statistical consultant for Elite Research, LLC in Irving, Texas.

Dr. Brady is passionate about her faith in Christ, as well as science and asking empirical questions. Her research focuses on understanding why people act or do not act according to their own attitudes. She enjoys traveling, trying new foods, knitting and crocheting and watching documentaries. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has one daughter.

The success stories are my favorite part about serving students. It’s exciting to hear about their new jobs, graduate school appointments, internship opportunities, or successful research projects.
