The Rotaract Club of Concordia University Nebraska brings together people ages 18-30 to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service and connect with young people and projects worldwide. Rotaract is an organization of Rotary International, a worldwide organization that has a seat at the United Nations and is eliminating Polio from the world. The CUNE Rotaract Club works with the Seward Rotary Club and 10,905 Rotaract Clubs with 250,792 members in 184 countries. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. From big cities to rural villages, Rotaract is changing communities.
The CUNE Rotaract Club began in March of 2018 and currently has fifteen members who are 9 women and 6 men. The Club invites all students to participate in meetings on the first and third Sundays of the months from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in THOM 111. Meetings include community service project planning and speakers from various professions. Various community service projects occur throughout the year. The CUNE Rotaract sometimes partners with the CUNE Student Committee for Diversity and Inclusion.
