Marcelo Hernandez concluded his first season assisting as a member of head coach Jason Weides’ staff. Hernandez joined the staff following two seasons playing for the program.

A native of Quito, Ecuador, Hernandez saw action in 36 games over his two seasons as a striker at Concordia. In his career, Hernandez tallied 19 goals and 14 assists. As a senior, he earned NAIA All-Plains Region and first team All-GPAC accolades. He was also a first team all-conference selection as a junior. Over Hernandez’s two seasons, he helped the Bulldogs to a combined record of 27-10-3 with two GPAC tournament championship game appearances.

Hernandez graduated from Concordia with a degree in recreation and sport studies.
