Jake Adams finished his first season on the Concordia University baseball coaching staff in 2017-18. He graduated from Concordia in May 2017 after two seasons as a starting outfielder for head coach Ryan Dupic.

Adams, who spent two years at North Iowa Area Community College, earned GPAC Gold Glove honors in 2016. A year later, the native of Mason City, Iowa, garnered honorable mention All-GPAC accolades and was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection and a NAIA Scholar-Athlete. In his two seasons as a Bulldog, Adams batted .294 with seven home runs and 61 RBIs. His three-run homer on May 15, 2017, helped Concordia to its first-ever national tournament win. Adams was a member of the 2017 GPAC regular-season championship team.

Coached by his father Tony at Newman Catholic High School, Adams earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Concordia. He is now pursuing a master’s in business administration. He is the son of Tony and Pam and has an older brother Jordan.
