The attacking exploits of Flor Suarez sunk the Bulldogs on Wednesday (Oct. 20) as they went up against GPAC leading Briar Cliff. Concordia played in Sioux City, Iowa, the hometown of Allee Downing.
With three games left in the regular season, the Bulldogs still have a shot at claiming a top four seed in the GPAC tournament. Concordia will celebrate senior day on Saturday after traveling to Briar Cliff on Wednesday.
One of the league’s most intense rivalries came down to a single goal in the 88th minute as Hastings defeated Concordia, 1-0, on Saturday (Oct. 16). The Bulldogs were limited to one shot for the evening.

The Bulldogs will attempt to start a new streak against GPAC opponents after falling this past weekend at Dakota Wesleyan. Concordia (2-1-2 GPAC) will play Morningside and Jamestown this week.
A streak of 14 straight games without a loss against GPAC opponents ended on Saturday (Oct. 2) as the Bulldogs fell at Dakota Wesleyan, 1-0. Concordia lost despite putting 10 shots on goal and owning a 16-10 overall shot advantage.
Cheyenne Smith made her minutes count as she returned to the field on Wednesday (Sept. 29) and knocked in the game winner in a 1-0 Concordia victory over Midland, an opponent the Bulldogs met in last season's GPAC semifinals.
