Three Concordia University women’s soccer players received conference honors for their efforts in the 2010 season. Jamie Sanchez was a second team All-GPAC selection, while Kelly Ross and Hannah Denk received honorable mention All-Conference recognition.
Hastings College, the top seed in the GPAC Tournament, picked up a 3-1 women’s soccer win over Concordia University on Tuesday evening in Hastings. The Broncos improved to 13-4-1 on the year and advanced to the semifinals with the win. Concordia ended its season at 9-8-1.
Concordia scored five goals in the first half and cruised to a 7-0 women’s soccer win over Briar Cliff on Saturday evening in Seward.
